Employees from MCB locations show their “true colors” for the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day. Clockwise from top left: Unicoi, Erwin, Bearden, Boone Ridge, and Cedar Bluff.

To raise awareness of heart disease among women, Mountain Commerce Bank employees at all six locations dressed in red on Friday, February 3, 2017—the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day®.
Additionally, through the sale of Go Red for Women® pins, the employees raised $300 to help promote education and fund the fight against heart disease. The bank generously matched the employees’ contributions, raising the total donation to the American Heart Association to $600.
National Wear Red Day encourages women to know five critical numbers to take control of their heart health: blood pressure, total cholesterol, good cholesterol (HDL), blood sugar and body mass index (BMI).
At Mountain Commerce Bank, our employees are actively engaged in the community, supporting initiatives and events that are important to the people we serve.
